GENEVA, New York. Jazmine Palma of the Lock Haven University hockey team has been named the 2022 National Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American Coach of the Year, giving the Bald Eagles a bright future. Your career will be the icing on the cake.
Haven’s senior linebacker was named to the Third Team after leading the Bald Eagles to the most wins (12) since 2015 and a perfect 9-0 record at home, their first undefeated home run since 2003.
As for the LHU, Parma entered the program’s storied history as the 88th All-American and the first since Blair Wayne.
Parma’s trophy cabinet continues to grow and the three-time All-Atlantic 10 (A-10) and NFHCA All-Region player will have to make room for more equipment. In 2022, the Condors midfielder is tied for the top 10 goals with the A-10 team leader, with her 23 points placing her fourth in the league.
A regular key player, Parma contributed to decisive moments by scoring four game-winning goals to top the A-10.
During her fantastic career, the newly minted American scored 17 goals and made nine assists, scoring 43 points in 44 games for the Bald Eagles.
